Pneumatic Filters

Some filters use a 'media' to capture particles while allowing air to pass through, whereas others utilize membranes that permit only air to flow. These filters are commonly paired with pneumatic air lubricators.

A noticeable pressure drop often indicates that the filter requires cleaning. However, certain parts like the service indicator and the automatic or manual drain should not be serviced.

What are pneumatic filters used for?

Primary filters
Primary filters safeguard pneumatic equipment from damage caused by contaminants like dirt particles, tiny water droplets, or aerosols. They can filter out particles as small as five micrometers.
Secondary filters
Secondary filters are capable of trapping particles as small as 50 nanometers, effectively removing fumes, odors, moisture, oils, and other extremely fine particles from the air stream.
