Use Blow Guns to quickly remove dust, hair, and fibre particles, keeping your workspace or components clean. Simply connect a hose to an air compressor for efficient debris removal and non-contact part cleaning. Blow guns are easy to use, featuring a single trigger that delivers a powerful blast of air when pressed.
How do they work?
Air Blow Guns are constructed from plastic or metal and feature an ergonomic handle for comfortable use. They connect to an air compressor that sends a steady stream of compressed air through a nozzle. Many models include an internal fail-safe pressure mechanism that automatically shuts off the air if the gun is dropped. Blow guns are operated either by a discharge lever aligned with the air hose or by a trigger positioned at a right angle.

Types of Air Guns
We offer a variety of blow guns equipped with different nozzle types tailored to your needs:
Standard Safety – ideal for general-purpose use
Small Diameter – fits into tight or narrow openings
Rubber Tip – protects surfaces from damage
Flexible Tip – allows precise aiming at target areas
Venturi – features small holes that draw in ambient air to boost airflow
Extended – provides extra reach, available in straight or angled designs for hard-to-access spots
Applications
Blow Guns are commonly used in air tool tasks such as paint spraying and tyre fitting. Their versatility makes them an essential accessory if you operate a compressor. Explore our selection to find the perfect blow gun for your application.
Blowgun (VMG)
The SMC VMG series of blow guns have a large effective area without nozzle. Pressure loss is 0.725psi (0.005MPa) or less when a nozzle bore size of 2.5mm is used.
Energy saving
Shock resistant body
Gun body made from high impact, shock resistant resin
Not affected by supply presure
Trigger mechanism gripping force the same at high and low pressure
Resin body lever type
White or dark blue body colour versions available
Note
Nozzle not supplied with blowgun.
SMC blow guns
Reduced air consumption
Minimal activation force
Version VMG11BU-F02-03 fitted with Ø 2 mm KN-R02-200 nozzle
Pressure loss less than 1%
Effective area of 30 mm2
The SMC VMG series blow guns have minimal pressure loss compared with conventional models, so they can achieve equivalent performance at lower pressures and with less volume of air consumption. As a result, it is possible to achieve a 20% reduction in power consumption.
