Filter Regulators
Filter regulators are integrated components used in compressed air systems to enhance efficiency and maintain consistent performance. These devices combine the functions of both a pneumatic filter and a pressure regulator into a single compact unit. Commonly used in pneumatic air preparation setups, filter regulators help streamline installation and conserve space. While available as separate units, combined filter regulator assemblies offer convenience and reduce the need for additional piping.
- Pneumatic Regulators, also known as pressure control devices, manage the output air pressure within the system. They maintain stable pressure levels and help reduce unnecessary air consumption, improving energy efficiency.
- Pneumatic Filters are responsible for purifying the air by eliminating contaminants such as water, dust, and debris. These filters ensure that only clean, dry air passes through the system, protecting downstream equipment.
The connection points—referred to as inlet and outlet ports—are used to integrate the filter regulator with the rest of the pneumatic system. These ports are specified by their type and size, such as G 1/8.
