VXD Pilot Operated VAlves SMC has improved upon their VXD range of Pilot operated diaphragm 2-port solenoid valves. The redesign has made these process valves lighter and more compact while still delivering the outstanding performance of the previous generations. The VXD solenoid valve now uses less energy than its predecessor and is quieter in operation with an improved response time. Service life has been increased to 3 million cycles by using an improved scraper design that is contaminant resilient. Air leakage has also been reduced. VXZ2-A Two Port Pilot Operated Solenoid Valve Pilot operated solenoid valve range from SMC’s VXZ series suitable for water, low pressure and vacuum applications. Redesigned by SMC to be 27% lighter and 4% smaller than the current model the VXZ is ideally suited lightweight and compact machinery where space is limited. The VXZ is suitable for use in a variety of applications including cooling systems, segmentation of pneumatic lines and exhaust valve in vacuum lines. VX21-22-23 Two Port Direct Operating Solenoid Valve The SMC VX 2 Port Direct Operated Solenoid Valve is suitable for use with air, water, oil and medium vacuum environments. Air models are available with aluminium or resin bodies, while water/oil/medium vacuum models are available with brass or stainless steel bodies. Benefits over conventional SMC solenoid valve: Large flow rate (20% more for Size 1* model) More compact body (Size 1* is 10% smaller) Light weight (30% lighter: aluminium body, Size 1* model) Reduced power consumption when compared with SMC conventional model Built-in Full Wave Rectifier (for AC models) The SMC AC solenoid valve models offer an improved OFF RESPONSE, LOW NOISE construction, IMPROVED DURABILITY, REDUCED BUZZ noise and an overall REDUCTION in APPARENT POWER.
