Pneumatic filters are integral components in compressed air systems, designed to capture impurities and safeguard equipment. By trapping contaminants within the filter media, they maintain optimal system performance and prevent costly damage. The filter element is the heart of this process, responsible for purifying the airflow. Over time, these elements can degrade or become blocked, and high-efficiency water-separating elements help prolong the overall filter lifespan.
We stock a variety of replacement air filter cartridges compatible with numerous filter housings. Always verify that your new element matches the specifications of your existing pneumatic filter or cartridge system. Filter elements are widely used across sectors—from automotive workshops and manufacturing plants to general-purpose compressor setups.
Understanding filtration grade
The term “filtration grade” indicates a filter’s capacity to remove particles of a certain size from compressed air. Expressed in micrometers (µm), it denotes the maximum diameter of particles that the filter can effectively eliminate.
SMC - AMJ Series Drain Separators for Vacuum
Removes water droplets from air by simply installing in vacuum equipment connection lines. Effective for removing water droplets from the air sucked into vacuum pumps and ejectors, etc.
Over 90% of droplets can be removed through the use of a special water droplet removing element. The provision of a drain cock makes it possible to discharge the drain manually after breaking the vacuum. Even when the element is saturated with water, there is almost no drop in pressure (increase in resistance). The element can be replaced with a single touch.
Exhaust Cleaner
The SMC Series AMC Exhaust Cleaner has been designed to ensure clean plant air is available, and additionally, to reduce noise within a pneumatic system. The exhaust cleaner unit must be mounted vertically, and a suitable mounting bracket is included. Various sizes are available to suit individual requirements.
