Pneumatic Quick Exhaust Valves

How Does a Pneumatic Exhaust Valve Work?
Quick exhaust valves function by routing compressed air from the cylinder directly to the atmosphere rather than allowing it to flow back through the valve. This mechanism increases the extension speed of the actuator piston rod. For optimal performance, exhaust valves should always be installed directly on the vent side (exhaust port) of the pneumatic cylinder.
